Art Festival, the first appointment to inaugurate the summer season of performing art for central Italy, reveals its cards, announcing a maxi format edition. The Festival will develop over 3 weekends, a long journey that from 23 June to 9 July and will touch 5 municipalities in the Marche region: Montelupone, Porto Recanati, Loreto, Numana and Recanati, five splendid cities for 5 all different programs, each adapted to the architectural peculiarities that every town offers. A great satisfaction for the Whats Art aps promoter association, created to enhance the territories through the charm of the performing arts.
Art Festival will open in Montelupone on June 23 with a single show in double replica in Piazza del Comune. After the success, in 2022, of the children’s theater review at the Nicola degli Angeli, the collaboration with the municipality of Montelupone continues for the “first time” of the Art Festival in its main square. The Festival moves to Porto Recanati on June 24, as a reconfirmation of the success of the 2022 edition, in the splendid setting of the Europa Park, with a program that will be marked by the rhythms of the sea. On June 30, yet another novelty and yet another first, because the Art Festival will be in Loreto in via Papa Sisto V, one of the most beautiful panoramic places on the coast. On July 1, the Festival returns for the second year to Numana, the evocative Queen of the Conero, which will be enriched with unique performances. The Festival will conclude its itinerary with the two days of 8 and 9 July in Recanati, where the entire historic center will be transformed into a single real open-air stage.
As per the now consolidated format, artists and companies from all over the world will perform on the street according to a detailed programme. The entire exhibition is free to enter and is intended for an audience of all ages. From the afternoon to late evening you can experience a moment of great conviviality and participation, thanks also to the many collateral activities, including a craft market, installations and quality street food proposals.
The event is made possible thanks to the patronage of the municipalities involved, individuals, local companies and all the volunteers who are part of the staff of the event.
